This sucks.

I’ve seen a lot of Prodigy labeled shit merchandises recently - snickers, bags and now it’s t-shirts. I haven’t seen anything worse. I don’t believe it’s worth to sell Prodigy brand like this. Just like last days of the ant.

Some Prodigy fan found Liam in the outer internet car forum recently. And I should say, Liam is damn keen about cars:
tvr chimera
tvr griff 500
escort cosworth (i know ,essex)
porsche 993 rs
viper venom 550
gemballa 600 993
ferrari f40
mclaren f1
ferrari 550
ferrari 360 f1
ac cobra 427
ferrari 360 manual
pagani zonda c12s
ferrari enzo
dodge charger 1968 (still own)
It seems Liam was a quite regular poster in the forum, but then he has quit for some reason. I’ve read some disappointed comments about the fact Liam loves cars and driving instead music making. I should say, you’ll be surprised, I have nothing against the cars and super muscle car. I pretty much like these one myself. Of course, I don’t own any car at all, music hardware is my top priority at the moment. But I quite respect people who make cars like Dodge Charger, they should definitely work and eat, that’s why there should be people like Liam Howlett. He is a VIP, he has money and I wouldn’t mix it with music making. Being rich is a pretty much curse. Art loves any kind of limitation. Liam was a genius with his Roland W30, I was a genius with my 4 channel mod hardware mod-files player. But when you got a million of samples, tons of hardware, you just don’t know where to start. And if you got a million of places to go to have some fun, what would you do? Well, I’ve given quite a lot of advices to Liam, I don’t see any reason to copy the same thoughts again and again. The only thing I’d add is that I don’t like the fact people have no any other subject to discuss, it’s sad, man.
Hey.
I just downloaded a decent quality version (originally encoded at 96kbps, not the myspace steam rip) of the Charly (Zinc remix) which has been posted at the Prodigy myspace. Honestly, I’m not impressed with the mix. For some reason it sounds quite boring to me. It does include some interesting fx’s, it’s speeded up, it does include *funky* bass line, but kill me, it’s boring. I’d say the mix has totally ruined original Charly energy. I’m not familiar with the way Liam choose official remixes, but it seems it’s related to dice throwing somehow. Which is no surprise, unfortunately. Official remixing seems to be a totally opposite approach to unofficial remixing in my case. You know, it’s quite funny to be *unconnected* to the official side. In the official side everything works, something less, something works as hell. Whereas being non-official remixer and Russian resident makes a monster of you, the only thing that works is your imagination. Your talent, your tools, your music, your success is just your own imagination. Too bad I can’t feed my body with the imagination, it just won’t work.. In the unofficial side..
P.S. Liam, I’ve bought a second hand Terratec 24/96 sound card for $73, shipping costed me $40, have a damn champagne! Cheers, yo bitches!
Yeah, I thought there will be a present, and *yeah, the present will be out next year!”. Now I’m gone to search for some money for the prodigyremix site. Cheers motherfuckers!
Hey guys. Usually I stay away from politics, at least within my internet projects. But after reading some of UK papers (The Times, The Sunday Times, The Financial Times, The Guardian, Daily Mail, The Independent and others) I feel that’s my civil duty to make some notes about it. First of all, let’s note that I’m 26, and I’m Russian. I live in deep Russia all my life, so, I can clearly see what’s actually happening in Russia.
It’s quite sad to see/read that UK mass media put some serious delusions about Russia to UK residents minds. Some of “authors” (Rod Liddle, Edward Lucas and others) write totally ludicrous facts about Russia. Of course I’ve had enough of laugh during reading the crap. But the thing is that you’re (UK residents) in serious danger. I don’t really care what do they write about Russia, we’ve been never respected by other world. But since *some people* do big money of these cheap articles you (UK residents) became a bunch of doll’s.
Actually, UK mass media and UK officials make me laugh of their attempts to harm Russia with saying that “Russian governments are criminal”, “Putin is fascist”, “Change your constitution” and etc. UK is full of stereotypes and lies about Russia and it’s culture, economic and social aspects. And since UK is full of delusions UK isn’t a politics player anymore, at least for Russia, and that’s not just my opinion. UK is probably some playing card for *someone else* now. Yes, the whole country is a playing card.
I know some people from UK, they are great guys, and the notes above are not related toward them. But I’d recommend all UK residents to think about near/far future of the UK and try to find actual enemies instead reading about “angry bears” before your country become a terrorist resort.
P.S. And I’m sorry, I’m not a victim of *Putin rhetoric propaganda*, LOL!
