You never know when it comes, but when it does there is no doubt. Up to moment the new Prodigy album Invaders Must Die is out and there is a couple of work in progress TSD tracks are released.

A very low tempo (88 BPM) rider is a remix of itself. The original is probably going to be released within the new album.

Star & Comet (Short version)

Born to be an experiment the track was released a "Short version". There are few ideas inside the track which perphaps steps out of the TSD classic sound but still they have something to say about the music.

THE ALBUM IS DONE. we r all so buzzed about it . it is called INVADERS MUST DIE as you probably know by now ! .11 tracks. its a band album mostly so we can play all the tunes live if we want. didnt want to have any guest vocalists on this record even though we did do 3 collabs but they didnt feel part of this record — they may come out later. dave grohl plays on run with the wolves, what a top lad he is . he approached me and we pulled that tune out the bag at last minute, fast ferocious tune with evil big electronic riff with keef on vocals. i also got james from ‘does it offend yo yeah’ in to do a bit of additional production on a couple of tunes .i met him at gatecrasher and he basically told me he was a fan and had been trying to rip of my sound for years , fukin hilarious .  geezer  ,great to work with.  warriors dance is on there sounding massive in its final form . got lots of other beats and pieces left over including a couple of live tunes i know people buzz off so the plan is to put that shit onto an additional disc that will be part of a box set or deluxe -not sure yet but those beats that didnt make the main album need to break out .

 Finally! We almost got it! My congratelations goes to mr. H! I’m feeling like I was heard at Brainkiller’s forum about the damn collaborations! The band just don’t need any, at least in the studio.

Meanwhile Moscow’s gig on December 1st was cancelled for yet unknown reason. I bought my ticket to Moscow and I’ll go there anyway, but the cancelling is a quite dissapointment. Hopefully I’ll catch another couple of gigs, something like Dolphin!

According to Amazon there will be a release on October 13th. The name of the release is TBA (to be announced). I doubt it’s going to be full album release. I rather suppose it’s new single is appoaching. I place my bet on World’s on Fire. Unstoppable (mescaline) goes next in my bets..

Meanwhile the Second Division is waking up from deadly sleep. We’ve uploaded mosly all old stuff from "Siberian Plague" era to our last.fm page. I should admit there is a progress with our last.fm listeners, which is a big surprise.  There is a couple more of old tracks to upload, and then there will be nothing to upload except the new stuff. Right, besides own material I’m still working on some Prodigy remixes, mostly old and classic tracks. I’m not a fan of recreating new Prodigy tracks, so, I’d rather wait for the official release and cut it down to small pieces.

So, we got some new semi-official news about the new album release "date":

Was browsing some other fansites and there is some short of confusion about when the new album will be out and stuff. They probably done interviews telling the same thing somewhere, more or less, dunno, I can only tell you what they told us there:
8 tunes ready but not mixed yet, needs another 3 or 4 tracks for the Album. Liam doesnt know when the new album will be out, because simple you cant say when those tracks will be ready and when they r gonna get mixed and mastered. After that, never forget the 2-3 months of copy pressing and promotion of the new Album after its done, and since Liam doesnt like the "Christmas" time of year for a release, I am really guessing, and thats my personal opinion, that the Album will be out next year BUT we can hope for a single this year? Now I see we forgot to ask them about any singles b4 album release Sad . Anyway, thats all, he didnt say which tracks will be on the Album, the only thing he said is that they are ready to play more new tunes from the forthcoming album (but as said b4, they arent mixed yet). Then there was "something" in the ear about changing Their Law and make it maybe faster, or a gabba version of it, but this was mostly funny talk at the moment (I was mostly convicing him to never drop Poison from the setlist as its my fav tune Razz ). Poison Live changed over the years slightly with some simple changes over the years and I think Liam isnt ready to drop their law from the setlist so maybe the slighty changing their law talk there. Let me say sitting there with the guys and listening to the ideas and talking about them makes u understand that the band will be certnely here for the next 20 years… so many ideas, visions etc. of course parts of them will be realised, but some exciting stuff there IF things should happen that way. Anyway, back to normal life now..

Let me see….  New interviews? New website? New sub label announce?  New tracks announce? Hell yeah…

But seriously, I’m not that much impressed. New interviews (Q Magazine, Self tilted)? Well, yeah, Liam & Co finally published some honest things. But still anything that we didn’t know.

New website? Yeah, that’s a quite best that happened for a long time I can remember. The new Prodigy site doesn’t have a great design or ideas behind, but hey, it does contain some text information now! It’s a really big progress for the band. Of course, I don’t count on  Liam’s going to post something interesting in his blog, but now he’s got the ability to see fans response at least.

New sub label ("Take me to the hospital")? Yeay, mama, take me to the hospital! This is next one good news. The band realized they are not alone in the breaks. I know a bunch of artists who makes damn rocking stuff, and at the same time they have to wander all the way searching a label to be heard by fans who wonder where the hell quality breaks music gone. I’m not really sure the new label is going to be something really useful, but hell knows, maybe Liam would find a couple of pounds to buy a couple of samples…

New tracks? Well, as a second class human being I have to wait some downloads available. I’m not sure the band is going to upload proper versions, I’d rather expect something like 50 seconds of 64 kbps mono mp3 files. So, I really hope some one bring some nice recording device to the shows.

By the way… I’ve been surfing around the net and found the Second Division at the last.fm page, I was really surprised some people do listen to my stuff There are 28 listeners at the moment, but hey, I didn’t upload anything to the last.fm yet. From this moment and further on I’m going to use last.fm for releasing TSD music as well.
